Convert a folder of emails in three steps
- Select your .eml files, or drag them into the converter. You can select up to 200 emails at once.
- Review the messages, choose their order, and pick one combined PDF or separate PDFs.
- Create your download, then save the PDF or ZIP. Add original attachments to the ZIP if you need them.
What your PDF includes
Each email includes its subject, sender, recipients, date, readable message text and an attachment list. Combined PDFs start with an index of messages and their page numbers. Dates in the index use UTC so messages from different time zones sort consistently.
HTML newsletters and styled messages become simple, searchable text. Local PNG and JPEG inline images appear after the message, rather than in their original position. Remote images, tracking pixels, scripts and embedded webpages are never loaded.
Your files stay in your browser
The converter processes emails inside an isolated frame on this device. It makes no network requests, saves no files on our servers, and uses no browser storage. Clear the batch or close the page to release the files. Downloads you save remain on your device.
Limits to know before converting
- Up to 200 EML files per batch, 10 MB per email and 50 MB total. Very large mailboxes should be split into smaller batches.
- Up to 250,000 body characters per email, 2 million per batch and 1,000 pages per generated PDF. Messages that exceed the text limits are flagged rather than silently shortened.
- Latin, Greek and Cyrillic text is supported by the embedded PDF font. Unsupported characters, including some scripts and emoji, are replaced with visible
[U+…]markers and flagged before conversion. - Inline PNG/JPEG images are limited to 2 MB and 16 megapixels each. Images that cannot be rendered are flagged; originals can still be saved in the attachment ZIP.
- Encrypted emails cannot be converted. Email digital signatures are not validated or preserved. Keep the original EML files.
Common questions
Can I convert multiple emails without paying?
Yes. All output modes are free within the device-protection limits above. There is no paid tier or daily quota.
Will attachments become PDF pages?
No. Attachments are listed in each PDF. Choose “Include original attachments” to save their original files beside the PDFs in a ZIP. Only open attachments you trust; the converter does not scan them for malware.
Does this work with Outlook MSG or Gmail MBOX files?
This version accepts EML files only. MSG, PST and MBOX use different formats. Export or save individual messages as EML in your mail application first; renaming the file extension does not convert the format.
Why does the PDF look different from the original email?
The converter favors readable text over complex email layout. It does not reproduce stylesheets, interactive content or remote images. Review the result before relying on it as a record.
