Accessibility

We want every tool on Web Utility Services to be usable by everyone. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we do

• Every input has a visible label, and errors are described in text next to the field.
• All controls work with a keyboard, with a visible focus outline.
• Text and controls are designed for at least AA color contrast, in both light and dark mode.
• Pages work on small screens down to 320 pixels wide and when zoomed to 200%.
• Results are announced to screen readers after you stop typing.

Known limitations

The calculators need JavaScript to update results. Formulas are also written out on each page.
